INPYSGHT, insight and therapy on the Northern Beaches
People often ask where the name INPSYGHT came from. Originally, it began as an abbreviation of “Independent Psychologist Gill” - shortened to INPSYG. Over time, the name naturally evolved into INPSYGHT (pronounced Insight), which felt fitting for the work I do as a clinical psychologist.
Insight sits at the heart of psychological therapy. Often, therapy is not simply about managing symptoms, but about developing a deeper understanding of ourselves, our experiences, emotional patterns and relationships.
Sometimes people arrive at therapy carrying anxiety, burnout, grief, trauma, relationship difficulties or a sense of feeling “stuck” without fully understanding why. Others may be navigating major life transitions, parenting challenges, neurodiversity, workplace stress or longstanding emotional patterns that have quietly shaped their lives over many years.
Psychological therapy creates a space to pause and make sense of those experiences. For some people, insight can be profoundly relieving. It can help explain experiences that previously felt confusing or isolating. For others, it becomes the foundation for meaningful change - helping them respond differently to difficult emotions, relationships or situations in everyday life.
At INPSYGHT, therapy is designed to provide a safe, highly confidential space where people can better understand what they are experiencing and explore practical, compassionate ways forward.
If you feel ready to explore therapy, insight and meaningful change, appointments are available in Manly and via secure telehealth across Australia and the United Kingdom.
